The GS8208 is a 3-channel constant current constant LED drive with resumable data transfers and internal display patterns. There are data transfers and internal display patterns. Long Life LED-strip GS8208 12V Digital RGB protected High Power distinguishes itself by the A-quality 5050 LED-chip that ensures an extra high light output. These LED-strips are fitted with the special GS8208 12V LEDs with an embedded controller chip that allows each LED to control color and brightness separately.This does not require complex wiring plan, these LEDs are serially controlled by a specially designed microcontroller. With only three wires the strip can be controlled: Ground, +12 V (note the current!) And a serial data signal.
On the strip itself, between the LEDs this serial information is transfered from the serial output of one LED to the serial input of the next LED. It is thus possible for any length LED strip colors to come true at the beginning and end of each other, or even to create a display that can display (moving) images. This digital LED-strip is perfect to control whith MaNima Interfaces.
Both RGB LED chips and the microcontroller are integrated in the housing SMD 5050, and together form a complete digital controllable full-color pixel. The LED has a built-in signal conditioning circuit to transfer the digital signal distortion free to the next LED input.

The LED used here is the GS8208, so 4-pin SMD 5050 package, for each color dual-chip thus exra high light output. Improvement of the light colors and a good white balance through gamma correction.
